How I choose what to make
I write about food I actually cook — the weeknight dinners on rotation at my house, the bakes my family asks for, and the occasional new idea I can't stop thinking about. If a recipe isn't something I'd genuinely make again, it doesn't earn a spot here.
A good share of the site leans on honest twists I've grown into over the years, like a little cardamom where you'd expect cinnamon. I only add a twist when it makes the dish better — never for the sake of being different.
